Guts is an independent by monthly magazine dedicated to personal and confessional writing and illustartion. 

In 2015 Guts won cover of the year at the Stacks Awards in London. The cover that won was my own from issue #1. I had the pleasure of being the first artist to launch the Guts ship. 

An artist takes on each issue, making artwork to accompany each confessional story along with the cover. Issue #1 had 10 art pieces including the jay cloth heart cover. 

Being a multidisciplinary artist, I adapted different mediums for how I felt each story should be portrayed. As different and as individual as each story was I wanted the same for the artwork.
