Souvenir Art Trail 

 

This piece was made and photographed for the

Souvenir Art Trail in Dublin.

 

I chose to make my print based on a souvenir from my childhood. My long lost He-Man & Battlecat toy. I lost

my favourite childhood toy in a mini flash flood during the summer rain of 1988. 

I wanted to make the woodcut look as real as possible to emphasise the the shocking reality of this nostalgic tagedy.
